It’s officially October so bring on the everything pumpkin! I’m kicking off pumpkin season by making some pumpkin slime. My oldest loved this “science experiment”! So let’s get started…
What you’ll need:
- A pumpkin
- Liquid starch
- Clear Elmer’s washable glue
- Measuring cup (Not pictured)
- Spatula & spoon
- Knife (Adults ONLY) (Not pictured)
Cut a hole on top of your pumpkin. Then use your spoon and scoop out some of the seeds. (You can put them to the side if you want, my son liked to add some seeds are he was playing with the slime.)
Add 1 Cup of water, the whole bottle of glue, then 1 Cup of the liquid starch (in this order) into the pumpkin.
Get your hands (or spatula if you prefer) in there and mix it all up.
You’re done, have fun!
So as for storage and how long it lasts, I’m not sure. We cleaned out our pumpkin and we will be making a pumpkin volcano next! (I will add link to that as soon as I post it.)
